This car has some history with my family. My brother bought it back in 1992. It was wrecked in the front, so He bought to fix and turn around. My wife and I visited him and My wife loved the car. Well we couldn't afford it then so He sold it to a person in the town we lived in. Thier son drove it all through high school and then broke it and parked it, in a field to rot. Six years later I decided to buy it from him. I pulled it from the blackberry bushes and refurbished it. My now proudly drives it around town. It has got to be one of the first Corvairs built in 1962. with a Serial number of 100036. Even the color is a 1961 color. Hinduras Maroon.
